6:00pm - 7:00pm - Conversation with local Mystery authors including Anita Page, Fran Cox and Sharon Linnea Scott, in the Community Room
7:00pm - 9:00pm - Screening of The Maltese Falcon (1941), directed by John Huston and starring Humphrey Bogart. Considered one of the greatest detective/film noir movies ever made. Community Room. Popcorn, lemonade and water will be provided.

Teens may perform music, poetry, comedy, or other performance art. Why "nearly-open?" Because performers must sign-up in advance before March 25th.
Performance may not exceed 15 minutes.
Registration is required to perform at Nearly Open Mic Night, but no registration is necessary to be an audience member!
Teens meet weekly with local writer Tom Naples to discuss writing techniques, short stories and poetry and share their own original work.
Adults and teens are invited to create a paper crafted book with Deborah Kittay-Hefler. If you wish, you may bring small items (no larger than 4" x 6") with which to decorate and personalize the album, but this is not necessary. Click here to see an example of what you will make!

In observance of Christmas, the Library will be closed on Christmas Eve (December 24) and Christmas Day (December 25). The Library will reopen at 12:00 noon on Sunday, December 26.
