Albert Wisner Public Library's Policy for Use of Meeting Rooms, which includes procedures and a fee schedule, affirms the American Library Association’s "Library Bill of Rights Concerning Meeting Rooms,”:
As an institution of education for democratic living, the Library should welcome the use of its meeting rooms, for socially useful and cultural activities. Such meeting places should be available on equal terms to all not-for-profit groups in the community regardless of the beliefs and affiliations of their members, provided that the meetings be open to the public.
To reserve either the Community Room (lower level - seats 80) or the Board Room (main level - seats 8-10), please call Kathleen Georgalas or Siobhan O'Riordan at (845) 986-1047, ext. 5 on weekdays during the following hours:
Monday: 12:00pm - 8:00pm
Thursday: 9:00am - 8:00pm
Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 9:00am - 5:00pm
