What was life like for enslaved Africans in the Hudson Valley of New York?  Even though "abolition" was made law early in the republic, why did it take so long for emancipation to happen?  Join us for a showing of new award-winning documentary,"Where Slavery Died Hard," which examines this question in New York's Ulster County and Shawangunk Mountains region.  A discussion will follow, both reflecting on the issues raised and examining the documentary evidence of the lives of the enslaved in Warwick.
