Mindfulness: Opening to Life with Curiosity and Compassion

This four-session course will explore how the practice of mindfulness can help us greet ourselves and others with openness, curiosity and compassion.  Each class will include guided meditation practice and a Q & A session.  Attendance at all four classes is recommended.

Ruth Landstrom is a clinical psychologist specializing in life coaching. She earned a B.A. in music from Yale University, a J.D. from the University of Virginia, a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Adelphi University, and a CMC (Certified Mentor Coach) degree from MentorCoach (www.mentorcoach.com).  As a lawyer, she worked both in government and on Wall Street.  As a psychologist, she worked for six years at an outpatient clinic in the Bronx before opening her own practice in 2000.
