Today  with over 123,000 names on the national transplant waiting list—and another name added every 12 minutes—chances are that we all know someone leading an ordinary life that will take an extraordinary turn because of organ transplantation.

 On Oct. 17 at 6pm the Albert Wisner Public Library invites the community to a celebration of life.   Organ donor recipients, donors and the families of donors will share their life changing stories and experiences.  Medical professionals will provide a discussion of the facts about organ donation and the amazing changes donations have made in the lives of their patients.
