Valerie Lucznikowska will present a brief history of the prison at Guantanamo Bay Naval Base in Cuba.  Having visited the prison, she will discuss its current operation and what the future may hold.

Valerie Lucznikowska is a retired PR and marketing executive in international policy, economics and finance and also an artist. She joined September Eleventh Families for Peaceful Tomorrows shortly after 9/11, when her nephew was killed in the World Trade Towers where he worked. Valerie is a Warwick resident and advocates for closing the prison and moving legal proceedings to federal courts.
