You may not know his name but you’ve certainly heard the gold record novelty song, “Aba Daba Honeymoon,” that he recorded with Debbie Reynolds; you’ve seen the   1950 MGM musicals Three Little Words and Summer Stock; you’ve laughed and loved Father of the Bride with Elizabeth Taylor, Two Weeks with Love, and Crazy For You. Film, television, and stage actor. Magician. Songwriter. Novelist. Carleton Carpenter has been them all, as well our Warwick neighbor!

Susan Supak will lead a multimedia conversation with Carleton about his life on the stage, in movies and as an author.  Carleton has recently published a memoir, The Absolute Joy of Work, and will sign copies following the discussion.  Copies of his book will be available for purchase.
