The Warwick Actor Training School (formerly MCC) joins forces with the Albert Wisner PublicLibraryto celebrate
400 Hundred Years of Shakespeare!
Seven wonderful teen actors will perform a romping hour and a quarter of Shakespeare's silliest, scariest, most magical and most tragic scenes from Shakespeare's day! You will see scenes filled with lovers and fairies fromA Midsummer Night's Dream, jealous and deadly Edmund fromKing Lear, two brave sisters who disguise themselves as boys to escape from their oppressive uncle inTwelfth Night, the tragicJulietas she takes the poison to join herRomeo, and finally Viola disguised as a boy pleading for the love of Olivia for her master, whom Viola secretly loves -- only to find that Olivia falls for her, thinking she is a he! (Again, from Twelfth Night.) Come to laugh, be scared, and maybe fall in love a little bit.
