Looking for a job? The Warwick Career Transition Group offers support and skills training including updating resumes, interviewing tips, networking skills and gaining confidence during the job search.
The meetings are informal and provide the benefits of networking, resume critique by peers, occasional speakers, and a degree of support. The standard format is a quick introduction from everyone stating names and what they are searching for. The group tackles various topics such as: the biggest problems in the job search, interview techniques, using social media, age discrimination, and mapping a career search strategy. The meeting is led by career consultant Gregg Knowles.
