The Glenmere lands present a colorful quilt of hardwood swamp, shale ridgelines, bright and open marsh, mossy bogs, woodland pools and clear reservoir. Situated for the most part in Warwick, these lands comprise habitat boasting the greatest variety of animal species in the Hudson Valley.
Jay Westerveld will discuss both natural and unnatural features of the area from Washington's lifetime to the present.
