Book to Film: Discussion of "The Help"

Read the book, see the film and join us for a discussion of the popular 2009 novel "The Help" by Kathryn Stockett.Set in JacksonMississippi in 1962, the book tells the story of women who cross boundaries as the civil rights movement explodes around them.The discussion will explore the book and its transition to film.
Copies of the book and the film are available at the Library. The film will be shown at the Library on Saturday, February 25 from 2 to 4:30pm. Registration required.
We encourage participants to read the book and see the film, but both are not required to join the discussion.
