The New York Blood Center has declared a blood emergency.  Our local blood supply has reached a critically low level, with under a two-day supply of O-negative, B-negative, and A-negative blood. Donors with O-negative blood type, or "universal donors," are especially encouraged to donate, as their blood can be used in emergencies. The entire donation process takes less than one hour and a single donation can be used to save multiple lives! For questions about eligibility to donate due to travel outside the U.S., medications or medical conditions, click here or call 1-800-688-0900.

If you can help, please stop by the Library and donate!  No appointment necessary! If you would like to schedule a particular time, please click here!
